A 2-year-old boy died last week in a house pool.
According to Tucson Fire, crews responded to a southside home near Fairland and Forgeus at 6 p.m. May 19. The boy was found floating in a pool, performed CPR on him and transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The family said the boy was left alone for 10 minutes. Firefighters say the pool was gated but Firefighters say the pool was gated but they were unsure about the latch and gate.
The death was Tucson's first water death of 2018.
