16 new firefighters have joined the Tucson Fire Department.
The recruits celebrated graduation Friday morning at Pima Community College West Campus.
The firefighters went through 22 weeks of training and studying to join the department. On Thursday night, they had the opportunity to show off their new skills to friends and family.
During the graduation, family members were recognized for their support during the training academy.
