A man accused of groping a woman at Arizona Mills was taken into custody after he was found swimming in a nearby canal, police say.
Tempe police report that on November 18, 23-year-old Marvin Yazzie allegedly groped a woman at a restaurant and arcade inside the mall.
Police say they have seen surveillance video that reportedly shows Yazzie groping the woman and then leaving the arcade.
Yazzie was later found by officers, swimming in the canal just north of the mall.
Police say Yazzie was taken to the hospital for "extreme intoxication."
He has been charged with sexual abuse.
