Sheriff's Department confirms activity related to the Guthrie search resulted in no arrests

UPDATE (2/14 - 9:00 A.M.)

The Pima County Sheriff's Department confirmed that law enforcement was following a lead Friday night, carrying out a federal search warrant near Orange Grove Rd. and First Ave. in connection to Nancy Guthrie's disappearance. No arrests were made.

A PCSD spokesperson said deputies also questioned a person after a traffic stop, but that also resulted in no arrests.

They say PCSD and the FBI are working "around the clock" and tracking all leads.

UPDATE (2/13 - 10:45 PM):

KGUN 9 reporters have seen FBI agents speaking with a man at the Culver's on 1st and River, but it is not confirmed whether it is related to the Guthrie case.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are in a neighborhood on the Northside off Orange Grove and Camino De Michael.

They have closed off the road as they work on an active scene. They have set up a media staging area where we have crews on standby.

We're told no press conference will be held but are on standby for a press release from law enforcement.
