MARANA, Ariz. (KGUN) — Late Friday night, Marana Police responded to a deadly collision involving a train between Avra Valley and Tangerine Road.
According to the department, a sedan drove into a train at the crossing. The person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Westbound Frontage Road was closed but has since reopened.
