MARANA, Ariz. (KGUN) — Crews responded to a fire at Waste Management's Tucson hauling site near Ina and Silverbell on Saturday afternoon after 5 garbage trucks caught on fire, according to the Northwest Fire District.
Three of the trucks were completely destroyed.
NWFD, Tucson Fire Department and Marana Police Department all responded to the scene.
The fire has been extinguished and the Tucson Fire Department is investigating the cause. Nobody was injured.
While the fire initially caused a roadway closure, NWFD said it is back open.
