TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Unified School District prepared for in-class learning for the first day back.

However, not all the students returned to campus, just those who are considered 'at risk' or 'high needs.'

Those students include; homeless, in foster care, refugees or high-needs exceptional education students.

TUSD tells us about 3,200 students fit into those categories.

No word yet on how many of them actually returned to campus. But all had the option to learn from home.

For the rest of the students population, remote learning will continue at least through October 9.
