Nintendo has unveiled a new virtual reality product aimed at kids and families.
Scheduled to release on April 12, 2019, the Nintendo Labo VR Kit offers a unique first VR experience that families can build together, without the high price that most VR devices demand.

"The Starter Set + Blaster kit provides an action-packed introduction to the experience. You can then add to the fun with the Expansion Sets," the kit's description says.

Nintendo Labo kits consist of pre-made cardboard cutouts that gamers must assemble in order to experience the product's software.
Upon completing the virtual reality set, users can insert their Nintendo Switch and become immersed in the game's world.
The first run of Nintendo Labo units first released in April of 2018.
