Phoenix is home to one of six test stores where Build-A-Bear Workshop has opened a location inside a Walmart store.
Build-A-Bear opened Tuesday inside the Walmart store at 5250 W. Indian School Road in Phoenix. It is the only store in Arizona that is part of the test.
The location will have the same signature Build-A-Bear experience as its other stores, the company said in a news release, along with an "assortment of furry friends" and accessories.
That includes Condo Cubs, a new collection of stuffed animals that start at $10.
The store's hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
It is also being tested at stores in California, Florida and Texas.
