Albertsons and Safeway are in need of more employees. A lot more employees.
There are more than 1,000 "immediate" openings at its grocery stores in Arizona, including cashiers, customer service, deli, bakery, meat, produce, and delivery drivers, according to a news release.
People can apply online via www.careersatsafeway.com or www.albertsonscompanies.com. Or they can apply in person.
On Tuesday, March 24, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., hiring managers will conduct on-site interviews at individual stores, the release said. People are encouraged to bring an updated resume.
