TUCSON, Ariz. - Harkins Theatres is offering a way for families to cool off during the hot months while enjoying movies on the cheap.
Harkins Theatres Summer Movie Fun, which launches May 27, features a new family movie each week.
Season tickets for all 10 movies are $5 and are now on sale at Harkins box offices. Individual tickets are $2. Doors open at 9 a.m. and showtime is 9:45 a.m.
Season tickets also cme with a voucher for a free kids combo that can be used in September.
The program wraps up Aug. 2.
The lineup includes: "Happy Feet" (May 27 - May 31), "How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World" (June 3 - June 7), "Despicable Me 2" (June 10 - June 14), "Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation" (June 17 - June 21), "Smallfoot" (June 24 - June 28), "The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part" (July 1 - July 5), "Sherlock Gnomes" (July 8 - July 12), "Trolls" (July 15 - July 19), "Penguins of Madagascar" (July 22 - July 26) and "Shrek" (July 29 - August 2).
Harkins has Tucson locations at 5755 Arizona Pavilions Drive and 5455 S. Calle Sant Cruz.
