About Dan
Working in the Old Pueblo has been a homecoming, of sorts, for the Spindle family. Dan is an adopted "native" of Willcox and his wife Kendra grew up in Benson. Being able to report on the stories that affect so many friends and family members is a dream come true.
Dan briefly attended the U of A and later completed a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. His television career started at Scottsdale Community College where he earned a degree in Motion Picture/Television Production and Broadcast Production. Dan began his on-camera career at KOBI-TV in Medford, Oregon as an Anchor/Reporter. In 2006 he joined the KGUN 9 On Your Side team. You can see Dan's reports weekdays, as well as the popular consumer products segment "Does It Work" every Wednesday night. Dan anchors the weekend newscasts with co-anchor Tammy Vo.
When he's not working Dan enjoys home video/editing projects and likes to play Basketball and Tennis. He also likes spending time with his wife and kids Kyla, Jackson and Bryce.
