A small plane has crashed northwest of Wickenburg.
Preliminary information from the Federal Aviation Administration said a single-engine Cirrus SR22 crashed around 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday under unknown circumstances, 24 miles northwest of Wickenburg.
Two people were on board the plane at the time of the crash.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, one of the occupants was taken to the hospital for treatment. The second person did not require medical treatment, deputies said.
The crash happened in a very remote area, according to deputies.
