TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Multiple University of Arizona students have been evicted from a high rise apartment building for throwing bottles and trash from their apartment complex into the parking lot of the nearby Islamic Center.
Tucson Police, apartment managers and city leaders met to talk about the incidents on Wednesday evening after this was reported last week.
Councilman Steve Kozachik says the community has zero tolerance for this behavior.
"None of this represents what the University of Arizona is about, and none of this represents what this community is about," said Kozachik. He added the kids are an embarrassment to the University and themselves for putting lives in danger.
Beginning Thursday, Kozachik says the apartment complex will look at physically blocking off balconies for students.
