Tuesday night's decision came after aweek of forums where the community got a chance to hear from the candidates: Stephen Trejo, Maria Marin, Donna Hargens and Gabriel Trujillo.
Trujillo stepped in as the interim, after former superintendent H.T. Sanchez resigned before the end of last school year.
TUSD will offer Trujillo between $180,000 and $230,000 at its next board meeting.
