The Arizona Department of Public Safety has issued a notice that northbound SR-90 is closed at milepost 299, north of Whetstone Road, due to a semi-truck catching on fire.
Per the AZDPS tweet, the trailer was carrying car batteries and caught fire. Fortunately, the truck was able to disconnect.
No ETA to reopen.
