Nearly 10,000 ballots in Pima County did not cast a vote for President

Here in Pima County, ballots were counted until 3 a.m. on election night. There are 544,000 registered voters and more than 345,000 ballots have been counted as of Wednesday morning. 
 
The Elections Department says there are thousands of ballots yet to be counted, but at this point, that's a 63.5% voter turnout. Pima County officials say they expect a 75 to 80 percent turnout once all the counting is done.

As of early Wednesday morning, here's a breakdown of the votes by party:
  • Clinton: 182, 028 votes
  • Trump: 137, 992 votes
  • Johnson (Libertarian): 11, 752 votes
  • Stein (Green): 4, 485

In total, that's 336, 257 votes, which means 9, 621 people who voted did not vote for a President in Pima County.

Final ballot counts could take up to 10 days because the county has to verify all of the provisional ballots that were cast.
