GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a small plane from a flight school had to make an emergency landing in a field south of Phoenix Goodyear Airport.
Goodyear Fire Department officials say a crew responded to the scene Tuesday afternoon after reports of a plane down near 163rd Avenue and Ocotillo Road.
They say the two pilots aboard the plane weren't injured. Their names and ages weren't immediately released, but authorities say the plane was affiliated with BTC flight school.
There's no immediate word on why the aircraft had to make the emergency landing.
