One woman died after hiking Finger Rock Trail. Pima County deputies later confirmed a second hiker died at Ventana Canyon.

SARA says the rescue at Finger Rock Trail was in response to two hikers, who are 18 and 22-years old. The hikers went off trail and did not have water. One of the hikers had trouble walking. PCSD says two people have been taken from the scene by a helicopter. PCSD has confirmed that the female hiker that was rescued from the Finger Rock Trail has died. She has been identified as 18-year-old Adrienna Rasmussen. The man who was rescued from the trail has been transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

A third search and rescue operation took place at Ventana Canyon. Deputies searched for a group of three hikers from out of the country. They located one man who died and another who is okay. As of Sunday night, the third hiker from that group is still missing. The hiker who was found dead has been identified as 57-year-old Stefan Guenster. The missing hiker has been identified as 33-year-old Marcus Turowski.

Deputies also responded to an incident on the Loop near the 5000 block of South Outlet Center Dr. At 3 p.m. 54-year-old Jana Kirkpatrick went out for a walk. Her husband became worried when Kirkpatrick did not return in a timely manner and he called 9-1-1. Deputies responded and began to search the Loop. Kirkpatrick was located along the path where she was pronounced dead.
