Businesses in Pima County may have to start paying higher sewer fees soon.
The Pima County Wastewater Reclamation Department says there is a higher cost of service for businesses when compared to homes and apartment complexes.
The increase in cost will be phased out in one of two ways. Either small increases over a period of time, or a one time 16 percent increase.
The department will hold a public meeting tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Pima County Natural Resources Building, which is located at River and Camino de la Tierra.
