Tucson Police detectives are investigating after a man was shot and killed inside his home.
Sgt. Pete Dugan, a spokesman for the department, said officers received a call for a report of a shooting inside a home in the 5200 block of South Fletcher just after 2:30 p.m.
According to Dugan, the suspect is in custody. No name has been released at this time.
The victim was 35-year-old Eulises Echevarria.
Officers then found an adult man with obvious signs of gunshot trauma.
Homicide investigators don't believe this was a random incident. They say there was some kind of altercation between the victim and suspect.
At this time, police believe the victim and suspect were related somehow.
Police say they believe they know who they are looking for.
