The Pima County Sheriff's Department has located a missing hiker in Sabino Canyon.
Deputies say at 8:45 a.m. they received a report that 34-year-old Rafael Batiz was missing. He had been camping with two friends camped near Hutches Pool.
At 7 a.m. Sunday morning the group began the hike back tram stop nine.
Deputies say shortlly after they began the hike out Batiz separated from the others and has not been seen since.
He was later found near milepost nine on Mt. Lemmon Highwa. He was transported to the hospital and is being treated for heat-related illnesses. He is expected to be ok.
