TUCSON, Ariz. — Northwest Fire Department is currently working to contain a fire at trash transfer site on Ina Road Monday night.
The fire is now under control at 5200 W Ina Road working to put out the fire.
NWF says "Firefighters working on hot spots until heavy machinery can be brought in to sift through the fire involved area."
No injuries were reported and no other structures were threatened.
Everyone’s favorite person on a trash fire is the heavy equipment operator. Firefighters will soak down this smaller pile to ensure all hot spots are extinguished. Be mindful of what you throw away. Lithium batteries, flammable materials, and other materials can start fires. pic.twitter.com/ahpSYKcvka
