A plane with a single occupant crashed at Tucson International Airport Monday night just before 6 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
According to a tweet from the airport, the crash appears to have been caused by a mechanical issue during landing.
There was a minor plane crash at approx. 5:50 p.m. Single occupant. No injuries. Appears to have been a mechanical issue on landing.

The plane is awaiting removal from the runway.
Operations at the airport are continuing as normal with minimal if any delays.
