A new wildfire is burning near the top of Mount Lemmon.
According to Heidi Schewel with the Coronado National Forest, resources are making their way up the mountain, including several engines and a hotshot crew.
Schewel explained the Forest Service estimates the fire is about 1.5 miles from the summit of Mt. Lemmon. She wants to remind people not to fly drones into the area, as it's both illegal and also dangerous for the pilots and will force crews to stop their operation.
At this point, they estimate the fired has burned 25 acres.
