Authorities identify La Encantada shooter, victims

Authorities have identified the La Encantada shooter as 60-year-old Frederick Bair.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Bair was the lone shooter in last night's incident which left two men dead, including Bair himself at Firebirds Restaurant.

Deputies say Bair died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

Bair's ex-wife is the female who was injured as a result of the shooting. She has been identified as 57-year-old Mary Jo Bair. 

The male victim who had died has been identified as 65-year-old Eliot Cobb.

The mall is open, but Firebirds is closed.

Bair was a captain with the Tucson Fire Department.

Captain Barrett Baker with the TFD released the following statement.

The Tucson Fire Department is heart broken over the news regarding the shooting at La Encantada that occurred Friday night. The shooting left one person injured and two dead, one of which was Captain Fred Bair. The department extends it thoughts and prayers to the families of this tragic event.
