It may still seem like summertime, but for Sunnyside teachers and students, school starts today.
The district's elementary, middle school and high school students started classes today. The school year stretches to May.
Students tell KGUN9 they are eager to get the school year started and reunite with their friends. Teachers say they are eager to get their curriculum going and are still in need of supplies.
