The Frye Fire was more active Friday due to low humidity and high temperatures.
According to the Coronado National Forest, the fire has burned 42,755 acres and is currently 45 percent contained.
There are 766 people assigned with 45 engines and 9 helicopters, as well as fiver dozers and 14 water tenders.
The lightning-caused fire began June 7.
