A seven-car wreck on the northwest side Wednesday shut down the intersection of Flowing Wells and Wetmore.
According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, one person died in the crash. The woman who died has been identified as 81-year-old Shirley Taylor.
Six other people were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The roads have since reopened.
PCSD is continuing to investigate the crash.
