According to the department, the scene is at 5633 W. Cortaro Farms Road.
Northwest Fire's Brian Keeley said crews responded to a smokey haze inside the store that burned peoples' eyes. Crews did not find a fire at the scene, and the mist dissipated.
Circle K will be shut down for several hours.
No one was injured.
Motorists should expect slow traffic in the area and use Twin Peaks or Ina as alternates.
