The Phoenix Fire Department says an early Thursday morning fire of unknown origin destroyed a half-dozen townhomes under construction.
The department says firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to adjacent townhomes also under construction.
No injuries were reported.
The incident occurred near Central Avenue and Dobbins.
