According to members of his family, Daniel Martinez was the man killed in a Monday bee attack.
Martinez, who was in his late 40s' and hailed from Douglas, died when he was stung thousands of times in the 6600 south block of Camino De La Tierra. He was doing landscaping work on the home when the bees attacked.
Firefighters treated Martinez inside the home.
Four others -- including two firefighters -- suffered injuries from the bee attack.
Two hives under the eaves of the porch weighed 150 pounds.
