The Encino fire has destroyed 4 homes and is threatening 122 more, that's according to the Sonoita-Elgin Fire District.

The fire has grown to 1,300 acres Wednesday morning.

Power is off due to multiple burned power poles and crews will be working to restore power in areas only where it is safe to do so. 

A community briefing is set to start at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Sonoita Bible Church. 

 

 

Evacuations are still in place along Boyd Road, Apache Trail, Holbrook Drive, and Terry Road in Sonoita, according to the Arizona State Forestry's twitter. 

Evacuees can go to the Sonoita Fairgrounds or the Harvest Church at 3107 Highway 83.
