A car crashed into a home near Curtis Road and Royal Palm on Tuesday.
According to Northwest Fire, the car struck a steel cross member of the home causing more damage to the car than the home.
When crews arrived the driver of the car was laying on the ground outside of the car.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the flames before they spread to the home.
The driver of the car was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
