Boy Scouts were looking forward to their camping trip in Mount Lemmon.
They arrived on Sunday and were evacuated that same day by a sheriff deputy, after the Burro Fire continued to grow.
Instead of letting these evacuations ruin their trip, staff members say they all decided on camping indoors at their headquarters.
Carson Coats is one the Boy Scouts who says even though it was upsetting having to leave the campgrounds, they're still having a good time.
"I mean some people want to get out some people like it, I personally like it, it's pretty fun cause I've never slept over in an office building for a week. Or done merit badges in an office building for a week so it's pretty fun."
Staff are asking anyone with program ideas to contact them so they can provide activities for the kids the remainder of this week.
