On Friday, Tucson's newest and largest public bike share program rolls out. Tugo Bike Share will install 330 bikes in 36 stations across 13 Tucson neighborhoods.
.@TugoBikeShare installed 36 solar powered stations for these bikes. The bikes have 3 gears, a bell and lights so you can ride safely anytime. More on @kgun9 at 6a! pic.twitter.com/MTT1d3C1LZ

The bikes are kept in solar powered docks, and you can check one out with a pass you purchase at the station or online. To buy a pass online, click here.
Daily passes cost $8. Monthly passes are $18, and yearly passes are $80. You can qualify for a cheaper pass if you meet certain requirements. Learn more here.
Bike stations can be located on the website through the map feature, or by using the app Cyclefinder. The map shows you how many bikes are available at each station.
Every Tuesday in December, you can participate in Free Ride Tuesdays. You can check out a bike for free for unlimited 30 minute rides.
In 2016, Tucson City Council approved this project, and with help from a federal grant, the Tugo Bike Share program kicked off.
