Personnel from the Arizona National Guard arrived in the U.S. Virgin Islands today to provide support for Hurricane Irma response efforts.
According to a media release from the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, more than a dozen aerial port specialists from the Arizona National Guard's 161st Air Refueling Wing are in the U.S. Virgin Islands to give logistical support.
Aerial port specialists are experts at managing passengers and cargo on aircraft, according to the media release.
