He announced his decision on ESPN's SportsCenter Tuesday.
Ayton is the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2017 according to the ESPN 100.
He is 7'1" and weighs 250 pounds.
Originally from the Bahamas, Ayton plays at Hillcrest Academy in Phoenix, where he averaged 21 points, 16 rebounds and nearly 4 blocked shots per game last season.
Ayton has been pursued by numerous schools and chose Arizona over Kansas and Kentucky.
