Deputies from the Cochise County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of an aircraft crash west of the Bisbee Airport Saturday morning, according to a news release.
As deputies arrived to the scene they located a 37-year-old Sierra Vista man who said that he had just completed some refinishing work on his experimental aircraft and was testing it at the airport.
The man told deputies that he was at an altitude between 700-800 feet when the motor died out.
Deputies say the man did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
