KGUN 9 On Your Side Anchor, Stella Inger and 94.9 MIXfm's Mrs. Grant, breast cancer survivors and community members in Southern Arizona will unite for the annual American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® walk at Kino Sports Complex on October 16th, and we'd like you to join us!
More than 34,000 women in Arizona will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year, and nearly 790 will die from the disease. Funds raised through Making Strides enable the American Cancer Society to provide free resources and support to the one in two women newly diagnosed with breast cancer who turn to the Society for information and help; to invest in groundbreaking research to find, prevent, treat and cure breast cancer; and to ensure access to mammograms for women who need them.
