You've probably heard of hot yoga or Vinyasa Yoga, but have you ever heard of kitten yoga?

It's a new fitness trend quickly gaining popularity and coming to Tucson on July 29. You can do a downward dog, while kittens run by your feet.

Floor Polish Studio is Tucson's first studio to bring kitten yoga to the old pueblo. Owner, Marina Cornelius loves providing unique classes to the community and wanted to find a way to give back, as well. To her, kitten yoga was the perfect idea.

A portion of the proceeds will go back to The Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Their main goal, however, is adoptions. Vanessa Ford, Marketing Director at HSSAZ says it's kitten season, so there are plenty of kittens to adopt right now. All kittens at this event will be up for adoption, as well.

Ford says all levels from beginner to advanced are welcome.

There are three classes available, each one hour in length. Tickets are $25.

You can learn more about the event or purchase tickets here.
